I founded Old House Designs because I’ve always loved connecting with people, building genuine relationships, and spending my days out in the world rather than behind a desk. My heart lies with antique shops, antique malls, small-town businesses, and the hardworking folks who keep them alive—the true backbone of America. Growing up, I looked forward to summer markets with my mom, wandering through antique malls and falling in love with the stories held within old things. This business gives me the joy of serving others while celebrating the charm and history I cherish. The name Old House Designs was inspired by our family’s beloved “Old House,” a beautiful 1901 home built by my father’s great-grandparents. It’s where my dad grew up alongside his parents, four siblings, and grandparents. My parents lovingly restored it, turning it into a living museum of family history and memories that continues to bring everyone together. Through Old House Designs, I hope to stay deeply connected to my community, serve others with care, and help bridge the beautiful gap between our rich pre-technology past and the exciting future ahead.
